Modern Renaissance2023 GBW Midwest Chapter Online Exhibition
This virtual exhibit presented an open choice within the theme of Modern Renaissance. Midwest Chapter members were asked to take this opportunity to explore an aspect of rebirth and/or share something new they had made over the past few years. Alphabets Alive! brings the magic of books and alphabets to life, featuring more than 150 works inspired by the alphabet – manuscripts, prints, posters, sculptures, alphabet books and, especially, artists’ books in their many shapes, sizes, colours, materials and languages.

April marks my twenty-fifth year in the book arts. I present here five books that follow my path from early photo and accordion-based artists' books to fine binding, historical structures, instructional models, and my recent more minimalist work highlighting structure and materials.
